MaMà Dots al Quirinale con MaMà’s President
Il Pop Pointillism Beyond AI entra in dialogo con le Istituzioni della Repubblica
L’8 giugno 2026, al Palazzo del Quirinale, l’opera MaMà’s President di MaMà Dots è stata donata al Presidente della Repubblica Sergio Mattarella in occasione della Giornata della Marina Militare 2026 e del 150° anniversario del Corpo di Commissariato Militare Marittimo.
Commissionato dalla Marina Militare, il ritratto è un olio su tela di 110 x 130 cm appartenente alla Perseverance Collection. L’opera nasce come omaggio al Capo dello Stato e ai valori della Repubblica: unità, servizio, responsabilità, memoria e fedeltà alle istituzioni.

Con MaMà’s President, MaMà Dots porta al Quirinale il linguaggio del Pop Pointillism Beyond AI, ricerca pittorica che unisce puntinismo, Pop Art e immaginario digitale. L’immagine richiama l’estetica del pixel e dell’intelligenza artificiale, ma è interamente dipinta a mano, punto dopo punto, con colori a olio su tela.
Il pixel viene così riportato alla materia pittorica; la griglia digitale diventa gesto manuale; l’immagine apparentemente tecnologica rivela la presenza dell’uomo.
Nel ritratto del Presidente, la moltitudine dei punti che compongono il volto assume anche un significato civile: ogni elemento conserva identità, colore e posizione, ma solo nella relazione con gli altri genera una figura unitaria. Una metafora visiva della Repubblica come comunità plurale, coesa e riconoscibile.
La presentazione al Quirinale rappresenta una tappa di particolare rilievo nel percorso di MaMà Dots, confermando il dialogo tra arte contemporanea, istituzioni, cultura del mare e riflessione sull’intelligenza artificiale.

As Honorary Patron of the collective, Anna Fendi was among the first prominent figures to recognize the strength of Pop Pointillism: a hand-painted language capable of translating the visual culture of the digital age into a deeply human artistic gesture.
Her endorsement places MaMà Dots within a dialogue between contemporary art, Italian creativity and cultural patronage.
